Yowah opal comes from Queensland, Australia, in the town of Yowah in the outback.  Bill and I have a home there.  The mines there, produce some of the most interesting and beautiful opal in my humble opinion.  I love to marry the matrix opal which often looks like a abstract painting with a boulder opal that is bright and clean.  It's the place where opposites attact.
