This Boulder Opal is referred to as bubble matrix opal.  Apparently, the way it forms is unusual and requires a tad more attention from the lapidary.  Bright colors of red, purple, and the rest of the rainbow within a creamy brown ironstone.  Carved chalcedony marries well with the purple tone within the boulder opal and pink tourmaline that finishes it off like a drink from a great wine.  Check out the necklaces that compliment.
