Boulder Opal leaf earrings are finished!  As I said in my previous post, this design was particularly fun because Bill Kasso shaped the boulder opals for me in the leaf shape.  

To "cut away" opal to achieve a shape is not always a wise move, but in this case the pipe opal allowed for it.

 They are spectacular on, large but not too heavy, 5 out of 6 of us at the gallery felt like they could wear them all day... I did :)
